January 2016 – Social Media Jumpstart For Business Bootcamp
The ASBDC New Jersey at Brookdale Community College, invites small business owners of Monmouth County to attend a no-cost Social Media Jumpstart For Business Bootcamp on January 28, 2016 at Brookdale Community College. Facilitator for the Social Media Jumpstart For Business Bootcamp is social media and marketing expert Lisa Kanda, President of Elkay Corporate Advisors, LLC. Kanda has helped hundreds of business owners get results using marketing, social media and branding strategies.  Kanda is also an instructor for the ASBDC at Brookdale Community College Digital Blueprint Certificate Program and a Social Media Consultant for the Center, assisting clients utilize social media to grow their businesses.

September 2014 – Teaching at Monmouth University
Lisa Kanda, President and Chief Results Officer at Elkay Corporate Advisors, LLC, has accepted a position as adjunct professor at Monmouth University. This semester she will teach Business and Professional Communication. Kanda earned her Master of Arts degree in corporate and public communication from Monmouth University. “As an alumna and supporter of the school, I am looking forward to this new experience,” said Kanda.

October 2013 – Lisa Kanda Shares Expertise on “Marketing in the New Normal” Panel
On Wednesday, October 9, the Greater Long Branch Chamber of Commerce sponsored a panel discussion and mini expo featuring Lisa Kanda along with fellow Chamber members, sharing their perspectives on “Marketing in the New Normal”. Over 60 business owners and community members gathered at Charley’s Ocean Grill to hear how businesses define the “new normal” and how to implement tactics and measure results for success.
